This is pretty much the problem of going to omnivourous restaurant. The worst was in France on a family holiday when I’d just turned vegan. There was literally nothing I could eat on the menu so I was pretty excited when the bread bowl showed up (what could possible go wrong with bread after all). So I picked up a roll, bit into it, and it had fucking bacon all through it. The meal didn’t really recover and I’ve always held a grudge against restaurants that aren’t specifically veggie or vegan…
