I read Charlie Brooker’s column about ‘The Wire’ being the greatest TV show ever created, which when you consider Twin Peaks exists is a pretty tall order. I’ve only watched episode one so far, but its off to a promising start. It feels like I’ve dropped in to a world where they speak a completly different version of English (think ‘A Clockwork Orange’ but less annoying) but I think that’s probably what keeps it interesting.
