I really hate fireworks. I’m one of those people that’s hiding behind the sofa with the cats and dogs on Guy Fawke’s night. Our neighbours decided it’d be a fun idea to launch fireworks to mark the new year right outside our window. If they’d done it at midnight that’d have been cool (we wouldn’t have been in!) but why set them off at 6pm?

This year’s new years was one of the best I’ve been to. They’re normally rubbish, but yesterday PJ & Gaby, Neil Sutherland and I Made This Mistake all played The Cottage to mark in the new year. They did tag team acoustic rocking out and it was great. Lots of posi emotion to see in 2008!
